Paper - with the planet warming up recycling is the way to go. But if not origami is a good way to utilise old bits of paper and, especially if ypu've got kids - to keep them busy. I picked up this technique from the net, the peacock is colourful although a bit untidy. But, well, that happens if you've a lot of kids playing around.
